Provides training, support and technical assistance to programs during licensing and start-up
Offers consultation and technical assistance to child care programs in the Quality Recognition and Improvement process, including developing and implementing continuous quality improvement plans
Provides guidance in understanding and using assessment tools, including the Environment Rating Scales (FCCERS-R, ITERS-R, ECERS-3, SACERS-U) and the Business Administration Scale and Program Administration Scale

Higher Education & Workforce Development Navigator
Helps support Early Childhood workforce members to identify and reflect on their academic and professional interests, goals and needs.
Smooths out pathways and helps overcome barriers so the Early Childhood workforce and those who may be interested in the ECE as a career choice will be able to have more higher education and professional development opportunities.
Recruits and connects incumbent early childhood education workforce individuals with appropriate ECE programs at participating two and four-year colleges and universities to obtain additional credentials, licenses, and/or degrees–Associates, Bachelors, or Masters.
Connects ECE workforce members to financial aid tools and opportunities such as FAFSA & ECE Scholarships.
Provides tech assistance as applications are completed for financial aid and/or connect ECE workforce members to those who can help them more thoroughly.
Navigates ECE workforce members to the proper contacts at the colleges/universities.
Builds relationships with the incumbent ECE workforce and connects them to resources and tips to help navigate their way through the higher education system and their professional development journey, along with support, follow up, inspiration and motivation.
